Hard Reset HTC Merge

First method:

1. Remove the back cover and the battery for a short while. 
2. Put the battery and the cover back in. 
3. After that, hold down Volum Down and Power buttons together.
4. Release held keys when you see a new menu on your screen.
5. Then select the Factory Reset by pressing the Volum Down button to navigate and Power button to confirm.
6. Well done! The hard reset has just been performed.

Second method:

1. Push the Power button to turn on the device.
2. Go to Menu and choose Settings .
3. After that tap SD & phone storage and select Factory data reset.
4. Then choose Reset phone, and confirm the whole operation tapping Erase everything.
5. That's all.
