First method:

1. If the display is off, press the Power button to turn it back on.
2. Afterwards go to Settings and then to Privacy.
3. Tap Factory Data Reset to begin the operation.
4. Well done! The hard reset has just been performed.

Second method:

1. In order to switch off your phone press and hold the Power button.
2. Afterwards press and hold Volume Down + Home + Power button together for a couple of seconds.
3. When a LG logo appears wait about 5 seconds and release held keys.
4. Now, you should see Recovery Mode menu.
5. Press Volume Down to choose "wipe data/factory reset", and then push the Menu button to confirm.
6. Select "Yes--delete all user data". Use Volume Down button to scroll and Menu to select.
7. To restart the phone, select "reboot system now".
