Root LG G4 H815 on Android 6.0 Marshmallow 20A Firmware Update –

The latest Google’s mobile OS Android 6.0 Marshmallow has been recently released for the LG G4 model number H815. Whenever a newer firmware version released, most of the users wish to get the latest firmware update. But if you have not yet upgraded your LG G4 to Marshmallow then we have shared a guide to install Android 6.0 Marshmallow on LG G4 H815 or if you have already flashed the stock Android 6.0 update on your device then you might looking to get root access on it. Interested to install custom ROMs, third-party apps or want to enhance battery life? Then go ahead and follow the given detailed step-by-step guide. We’ll use the autoroot kernel (based on 20A software) to get root access over the internal file system of LG G4. This root kernel includes SuperSU as well as busybox and has init.d support.
Thanks to cile381 (XDA forum member) for providing this autoroot kernel and according to him, this kernel is not tweaked and has no modifications. All you need to have a TWRP recovery pre-installed on your LG G4 in order to flash the recovery .zip file. Now proceed to the installation instructions but don’t forget to take a proper backup of all your data first, in case anything goes wrong then you’ll be able to restore your data and the battery level of your phone should be at least about 80% to prevent unexpected shutdowns while rooting.
