Hard Reset XIAOMI Mi Max Prime

First method:

1. In the first step turn off the XIAOMI Mi Max Prime by using the Power key.
2. Then press and hold together the Volume Up and Power key for a few seconds.
3. As soon as the Mi Logo appears on your screen release both keys.
4. Afterwards select "Wipe Reset" by using Volume Down to scroll and Power button to confirm.
5. Select "Wipe All Data". Use Volume buttons to navigate and Power key to select.
6. Finally, confirm the whole process by selecting "Yes".
7. Now the XIAOMI Mi Max Prime is erasing all personal data and customized settings.
8. Good job! The factory reset operation has just been performed.

Second method:

1. At the very beginning turn on the XIAOMI Mi Max Prime by holding down the Power key for a short while.
2. Next, from Home Screen  find and select Settings.
3. Open the Backup and Reset sction and select Factory Data Reset. 
4. Tap Reset Phone and read the warning when it pops up. 
5. Choose Erase Everything and the phone will begin restoring.
6. Well done! You have just performed the factory reset process.
