Hard Reset XIAOMI Mi A1

First method:

1. Firstly, turn off the XIAOMI Mi A1 by using the Power key and choosing the Power Off option.
2. When the screen is black press and hold the Volume Up and Power key together  for a few seconds.
3. Release both keys when the MI Logo pops up.
4. Select "Wipe Reset" by using Volume Down in order to scroll and Power button to confirm.
5. Then choose "Wipe All Data". Use the Volume buttons to navigate and Power key to select.
6. Finally, confirm the whole process by selecting "Yes".
7. Good job! The factory rese is done. You just erased all personal data and customized settings from XIAOMI Mi A1.

Second method:

1. At first, turn on the XIAOMI Mi A1 and unlock the screen.
2. Then from the Home Screeen find and select Settings.
3. Scroll down and open the Backup and Reset folder and select Factory Data Reset. 
4. Tap Reset Phone and read the warning when it pops up. 
5. Choose Erase Everything and the phone will begin restoring.
6. Well done! You have just performed restored the XIAOMI Mi A1 deafult settings and cleared all data.
