Hard Reset XIAOMI Mi 5c

First method:

1. At the very beginning power off the XIAOMI phone.
2. Then press and hold together the Volume Up and Power key for a few seconds.
3. As soon as the Mi Logo appears on your screen release only the Power key.
4. Keep holding the Volume Up key until the Recovery Mode appears.
5. In this step select English using Volume keys to browse and Power rocker to select.
6. Afterwards select "Wipe Reset" by using Volume Down to scroll and Power button to confirm.
7. Select "Wipe All Data". Use Volume buttons to navigate and Power key to select.
8. Finally, confirm the whole process by selecting "Yes".
9. Good job! The factory reset operation has just been performed.

Second method:

1. Start by switching on the device by holding down the Power key for a short while.
2. Afterawrds from Main Menu find and select Settings.
3. Then open the Backup and Reset folder and select Factory Data Reset. 
4. Tap Reset Phone and read the warning when it pops up. 
5. Choose Erase Everything and the phone will begin restoring.
6. Well done! You have just performed the factory reset process.
