Hard Reset SONY Xperia XZs G8231

First method:

1. At the very beginning download and install the Xperia Companion on your PC.
2. You may find this app here www.support.sonymobile.com/global-en/tools/xperia-companion/
3. Afterwards power off your SONY Xperia XZs G8231 and connect your phone to PC by using Micro USB Cable.
4. Then open the Xperia Companion and from the Main Menu choose Software repair.
5. Let's go through the confirmation proccess by clicking appropraite option.
6. When the following menu appear connect turn your smartphone into a Fastboot Mode.
7. In order to do it you have to hold down the Volume Down and while holding this key connect your phone with PC by using Micro USB cable.
8. Then read imporatnt infomation about process and select Next button to begin the factory reset operation.
9. When the opration is completed disconnect your device.
10. In the last step switch on your SONY by holding down the Power button.
11. Good job! The hard reset has just been completed.

Second method:

1. First of all, hold down the Power button for a short while to turn on the smartphone.
2. Afterwards go to Settings and then to Backup & Reset.
3. Then selec Factory Data Reset and tap Reset Phone.
4. Choose Erase Everything if you are sure you want to clear all your data.
5. Congratulations! The hard reset has just been performed.

Third method:

1. In the first step turn on SONY Xperia XZs G8231.
2. In the next step open the phone's dialer and type in: *#*#7378423#*#*.
3. From the menu which should appear on the screen choose option Customization Settings and then Reset customization.
4. Confirm information: "Data will be cleared and factory data reset will perform".
5. Accept by pressing Reset customization and reboot.
6. Well done! You have just performed the hard reset operation
