First method:

1. At the very beginning hold down the Power key for a short while in order to switch the device off.
2. In the next step press and hold the Volume Down + Power button for a several seconds.
3. When you see the three Android images, then release held keys.
4. Afterwards press the Volume Down to select option "Recovery", and press Power button to confirm.
5. Then select from Recovery Mode menu "wipe data / factory reset" by using Volume buttons to navigate and Power button to confirm.
6. Choose "Yes -- delete all user data" to confirm the whole operation.
7. After that select option "reboot system now".
8. Well done! The hard reset has just been performed.

Second method:

2. Then from Main Menu go to Settings and tap Backup & reset.
3. Afterwards choose Reset phone and select Erase all data.
4. Tap OK to begin the whole operation.
5. Success!
