Hard Reset LG V498 G Pad II 8.0"

First method:

1. Start by holding down the Power key in order to switch off the device.
2. Next, press and hold the Volume Down and Power button together for a couple of seconds.
3. As soon as the LG logo is displayed, let go of the Power key, keep pressing theVolume Down and then press once more the Power button.
4. You should release all buttons when the Factory Mode appears on the screen.
5. Then press the Power key to continue the hard reset process or either of theVolume buttons to cancel.
6. Afterwards use the Power key once more to confirm or one of the of the Volume buttons to quit.
7. Congratulations! You have just performed the hard reset operation.

Second method:

1. If the display is off hold down the Power button to turn it back on.
2. Afterwards form the Main Menu go to Settings.
3. Then select General and then Backup & Reset.
4. In the next step tap Factory Data Reset and Reset Device. 
5. Choose Erase Everything if you are sure you want to clear all your data. 
6. After that, select OK to confirm the whole operation.
7. Success! Your phone is ready to use.
