Hard Reset LG Nexus 5X North America

First method:

1. Begin by switching off the device by holding dwon the Power key for a short while.
2. In the next step press and hold Volume Down + Power button simultaneously for a few seconds.
3. Then press Volume Down to select option "Recovery", and press Power button to confirm.
4. As soon as the Android Image shows up on the screen hold down the Power keyfor a couple of seconds.
5. While you holding the Power button quickly press the Volume Up key.
6. Afterwards press Volume Down to choose "wipe data/factory reset", and then push the Power key to confirm.
7. Select "Yes--delete all user data". Use Volume Down button to scroll and Power key to select.
8. To restart the tablet, select "reboot system now".
9. Success! The hard reset is done!

Second method:

1. At first, turn on the device by using the Power button. 
2. Afterwards go to Settings and then to Backup & Reset.
3. In the next step tap Factory Data Reset and select Reset Device.
4. Enter safety code and choose Erase Everything
5. Afterwards select OK to confirm the whole operation.
6. Well done! You have just performed the master reset operation.
