Hard reset via Settings menu

1. Enter Apps from screen or press Menu key.
   
2. Select Settings -> Accounts -> Backup & reset -> Factory data reset -> Reset device -> Erase everything

Hard reset via via external hardware keys by entering android system recovery

1. Switch off your phone.
   
2. Then press and hold together Volume Up + Home button + Power button.
   
3. When you see logo Samsung release buttons.
4. Use Volume buttons to navigate to “Wipe data/Factory reset, and confirm with Power button.
   
5. Confirm option "yes" with Power button.
   
6. After this, select option "reboot system".
   
7. That's all!
