Hard Reset HUAWEI Ascend D1 quad XL U9500

First method:

1. Start by switching off the cell phone by pressing the Power button for a short while.
2. In the next step press and hold Volume Up + Power at the same time for approximately 10 seconds.
3. You can release both button when the Android Logo appears on the screen.
4. Use Volume buttons to select "wipe data/factory reset" and tap the Power button to confirm.
5. Afterwards choose "yes" from the menu, and accept it with Power rocker.
6. When the Recovery Mode appears again on the screen select "reboot system now" by usingPower button.
7. Success! The hard reset has just been performed.

Second method:

1. If the handset is off, press the Power key to turn it back on.
2. From Main Menu find and select Settings.
3. Then open the Backup&Reset folder and select Factory Data Reset.
4. Tap Reset Phone and read the warning when it pops up.
5. Choose Erase Everything and the phone will begin restoring.
6. Good job!
